Refund Policy

At Chef’s Choice, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your kitchenware, our return policy is designed to be as clear and fair as possible.

1. 14-Day Returns

48 Hours from the date of delivery to return an item if you change your mind.

Condition: The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original, undamaged packaging. * Exclusions: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on items that have been used for food preparation (e.g., a used frying pan or a soiled knife).
Cost: The customer is responsible for the courier costs associated with "change of heart" returns.

2. Defective or Damaged Items

If your appliance (e.g., a knife sharpener or blender) is defective or arrives damaged:

Please notify us at support@chefschoice.co.za within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.
We will arrange for a courier to collect the item at our expense.
Once inspected and the defect is confirmed, you may choose between a full refund, a repair, or a replacement.

3. Warranty Claims (Appliances)

Many of our electrical appliances and high-end cookware sets come with a manufacturer’s warranty.

If a product fails within the warranty period (usually 6–12 months, depending on the brand), please contact us.
Damage caused by misuse, "dry burning" a pot, or putting non-dishwasher-safe items in a dishwasher is not covered by warranty.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

Used kitchen utensils or cookware (for hygiene reasons).
Items purchased on "Final Sale" or "Clearance."
Gift cards.

5. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected at our Gezina warehouse, we will notify you via email.
Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method (EFT, PayFast, Yoco, etc.) within 7–10 business days.
